Galaxy War : A 2D Dragon Shooter Game

This is a personal take on the vintage top-down space shooter game. The player acts as a flame-breathing dragon (Aspen) whose mission is to fight through multiple waves of enemy invaders to win the intergalactic war. Aspen must fly swiftly between enemy monsters and collect hearts in order to survive. This game was created in Xcode using the OpenFrameworks C++ toolkit and demonstrates concepts such as collision detection, particle rendering, and object transformations. The image sprites were drawn and designed by me and Christina in Adobe Photoshop.
